Sweating should be fun, and by sweating we mean being active! Working out and being active should not be a forced, horrible, dreadful experience. Working in all ranges of motion to prevent atrophy and keep the body functioning efficiently in all aspects of our lives is key to success. We want to look at the long term, not jus the short term weight loss benefits.

Also, although it’s hard to accept this, weight loss and weight maintenance comes from your diet. So if we can grasp our diet, exercise, activity and sweating becomes more enjoyable! We find we exercise because we know our muscles need the movement after sitting at a desk all day and rounding our shoulders during that dreaded commute everyday. We use exercise as a mood enhancer or a social experience with friends. And guess what?? A healthy diet gives us the energy to want to workout and vis versa!
